Mom enters the house after a long day at work.
Damn that boy. “I told you not to smoke that weed in the house!” She yells out.
Ten seconds later. “It’s not me Moms. You know I haven’t smoked at home for months.” Son, Trevor yells back from behind his closed bedroom door.
“Don’t you lie to me boy. I can smell that Kush. The house reeks!” Mom walks to Trevor’s room. “Who is it then. Is it that Jimmy. Jimmy’s in here smellin’ up my house again. Get your ass out here Mr. James.”
Trevor meets Mom in front of his bedroom. “Wait. Just hold on and I’ll explain.” Mom pushes past him into the bedroom and stops in shock. “Mom? You gettin’ high with Trevor? I can’t believe this…”
“Oh dear, stop all the fuss. It’s just the CBD for arthritis.” Grandma responds.
Trevor jumps in. “Yeah Mom. You know that CBD store just opened down the road. They sold grandma some potent stuff. Not weed…there’s no THC, but it’s packed with those terpenes that smell just like it. She got the OG Kush shatter. Plus check out that rig, it’s better than mine. Memba, Steve, we graduated a few years back. He’s running the CBD store. Sold all this to grandma, and told her to get me to help her out with how to use it. You should try some, grandma seems pretty relaxed.”
“You know I can’t do that with drug testing at work.”
“Mom, don’t worry. It’s got no THC in it. It’s a pure isolate.”
“Really? Then hook me up!”
The Rise of Marijuana Flavored CBD Products
CBD is on the rise as it weaves its way into more peoples lives. New CBD companies, products, and stores are being announced every day.
One of the hottest trends in CBD products, is re-creating flavor profiles from popular cannabis strains, and adding them to vape products.
Terpenes, which are plant based oils, provide the unique aromas and flavors found in cannabis strains. They are much more prevalent in cannabis plants than they are in industrial hemp (the base plant for legal CBD products). This is why companies are creating terpene profiles and adding them to CBD products.
Terpenes exists in thousands of plants, including the same terpenes found in cannabis. Science has allowed us to determine the exact terpenes that exist in each strain. Laboratories are harvesting individual terpenes from non-cannabis sources, and blending together mixtures that smell and taste just like your favorite cannabis flower strains.
There are lots of CBD vape products (shatter & oils) for sale, that have cannabis flower flavor profiles. Some of the most popular ones include; OG Kush, Super Lemon Haze, Pineapple Express, Girl Scout Cookies, Gorilla Glue, Gelato, Strawberry AK, Tangie, Cherry Pie, and Blue Dream. Products with these terpene profiles are available from popular CBD companies:
If you’re craving the flavor of your favorite flower, but don’t want the THC high, consider trying a CBD vape product with added terpenes. If you’re not a cannabis smoker, and always wondered about friends telling you how good a particular strain tastes, you now have an option to experience it.
Warning: Dabbing CBD is for experienced users and not recommended for beginners. You should always start with a low dose and consult a medical professional before using any CBD product.
